Chillin' on "The Hill"

After dinner the kids decided to go out to the hill to do a little sledding. When it warms up (above zero) they can stay out there for hours sledding and digging snow tunnels.

The Brood

Well here is the brood. Right now we have six children in our home. Our three; Cora 9, Emma 7, and Aidan 3. We also have 3 Inupiaq Eskimo foster children; Benji 10, Violetta 8, and Rayleene 5. They are just one big happy bunch. As you might expect it can get pretty crazy in the house. It sometimes is akin to herding cats. We don't know how long we will be together as a family, but for now we are having fun.

Relaxing at the beach

Here is a picture of the kids last summer. We were just down the beach at a fish camp. Some people we know were cutting up seal meat. Cora, Emma and Aidan were having fun with their friends. This picture relaxes me. I have a copy right above our computer. You need pictures like this to remind you that the summer will come one day. Currently it is -8 outside.

An arctic winter day.
